Freshman Lauren Becerra swam as a part of three record-setting efforts over the weekend at the Metropolitan Conference Championships. On Friday evening, Becerra teamed with Meghan Seaman, Kassie Kayal, and Danielle Rodriguez to set a new record time of 1:48.93 in the 200 freestyle relay. Then, on Saturday evening, Becerra and teammates Seaman, Kayal, and Rachel Johnson blew away the school record in the 800 freestyle relay with a new time of 8:37.23. With an opening leg time of 2:02.68, Becerra also set a new school record for the 200 freestyle.
