Junior Carlos Valdez averaged 18.3 points, 11.0 rebounds, and 4.0 assists per game during a 1-2 week for the Mount. Valdez tallied 24 points and 13 rebounds in the season opener and then scored 24 points once against against Geneseo. Against St. Joseph's-Brooklyn on Saturday, the junior scored just seven points but grabbed a game-high 15 rebounds.
