Victor Reich

Victor Reich enters his second season—and first full year—as Head Softball Coach at Mount Saint Mary College in 2025-26, after guiding the Knights to a strong postseason run in his debut season at the helm.

In 2025, Reich led the program to a 15–22 overall record and an 11–7 mark in Skyline Conference play, earning a berth in the Skyline Conference Tournament. The Knights defeated St. Joseph’s–Long Island 8–7 in the Opening Round to advance to the Skyline Semifinals. Reich coached Grace MacDonald to First Team All-Conference honors and guided freshmen Grace Reich and Autumn Strobach to Second Team All-Conference selections.

Reich previously served as the Knights’ Assistant Softball Coach in 2024 before being elevated to lead the program. He brings more than 15 years of private baseball and softball training experience and over 12 years of competitive softball coaching, helping numerous athletes continue their playing careers at the collegiate level. For seven years, he managed multiple teams within the TC Futures Fastpitch organization in Mahopac, N.Y., developing players through an energetic, positive, and highly communicative coaching philosophy centered on growth, understanding the game, and preparation for the next level.

A Brooklyn native, Reich was a four-year starter and team captain at Lafayette High School before competing at the College of Staten Island, where he earned CUNY Freshman of the Year, was named MVP of the 1987 CUNY Championship, and served as team captain during a standout collegiate career.

Reich resides in New Windsor, N.Y., with his wife, Lois, and is the father of two.
