Kyle Teixeira enters his third year at Mount Saint Mary College and his first year as Assistant Athletic Director for Strategic Communications and Marketing.

Teixeira oversees strategic communications, marketing, and media coverage for the Knights’ 20 NCAA Division III varsity sports. During his time at the Mount, he has strengthened the department’s digital and social media presence, launched new TikTok and YouTube channels, and expanded the department’s live-streaming capabilities through the addition of play-by-play broadcasts for home contests.

In 2025, Teixeira was selected as one of 30 NCAA Division III professionals nationwide to participate in the NCAA Emerging Elite Program, recognizing emerging leaders in Division III athletics.

His feature story on Mount Saint Mary women’s soccer Head Coach Joe Dolan, “From the Pitch to the Sideline: How Joe Dolan Has Continued His Legacy at the Mount,” won the 2025-26 Fred Stabley Sr. Writing Contest in the Coach/Administrator Profile Story category for the College Division of District I. The story advanced to the national competition, where Teixeira was named the National Runner-Up.

In addition to his communications and marketing responsibilities, Teixeira serves on the Mount Saint Mary College Athletics Hall of Fame Committee and organizes the annual Knight Awards, which recognize the accomplishments of student-athletes across the department.

Teixeira has also helped develop external partnerships and marketing initiatives for Mount Saint Mary Athletics, including a partnership with Newburgh Brewing Company that resulted in the creation of Knights Golden Ale, a Mount Saint Mary-branded beer.

Before joining Mount Saint Mary, Teixeira served as an Athletic Communications Graduate Assistant at Merrimack College. He previously worked at the University of Massachusetts Lowell as an Athletic Communications Assistant and as an Assistant Data/Video Analyst for the men’s ice hockey team during his senior year.

A native of Massachusetts, Teixeira earned his bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems and Marketing from UMass Lowell in 2023 and his master’s degree in Communication from Merrimack College in 2024.
