Megan Douglass enters her second season as the assistant women’s lacrosse coach. Douglass will assist with recruiting, practice and pregame planning, fundraising and other duties throughout the year.
"I'm excited to work and coach at Mount Saint Mary College," said Douglass. "l have always wanted to coach at the college level and this is a great opportunity to help build on the program's success so far."
Prior to the Mount, Douglass served as the head coach for the varsity field hockey and girl’s lacrosse teams at Our Lady of Lourdes High school in Poughkeepsie, NY. Douglass also continues to coach for the Dutchess County Monarchs 7th and 8th grade club team.
Douglass graduated from SUNY New Paltz in 2012 with bachelor’s degree in History. She was a two year member of the women’s lacrosse team and played primarily midfield. Douglass also served as the backup goal keeper for the Hawks.
Douglass graduated from John Jay High School in 2008 and is a lifelong native of Hopewell Junction, NY.
