Victor Reich is entering his first season as the Interim Head Softball Coach. Reich was previously the Assistant Softball Coach during the 2024 season.
Victor grew up in Brooklyn, NY and attended Lafayette High School (4-year starter and team captain 86-87). He attended College of Staten Island (NY) and earned CUNY Freshman of the year and MVP of the 1987 CUNY Championship, while also being a 4-year starter and team captain (90-91).
Victor comes to Mount Saint Mary’s with over 15 years of private training (both baseball & softball), and many years of team Instructions. He has been actively coaching softball for over 12 years and has helped many players continue their playing careers at the collegiate level. Reich managed multiple teams within the TC Futures fast pitch organization for 7 years (Mahopac, NY), and brings energy, positivity, and communication skills to our great program. His philosophy is to develop players, make sure they understand the game and help them prepare for the next level.
Reich is a father of 2 and resides with his wife Lois in New Windsor, NY.Â
