Mike Lehmann has been appointed to the position of Director of Student-Athlete Recruiting and Retention starting in January of 2012. He will serve as a liason between the athletic department and the admissions office.
Lehmann is no stranger to the Mount, previously serving as a graduate assistant in the Athletic Department, the Office of Admissions, and the Office of Student Activities.
Lehmann, a 2008 graduate of the Mount, was also a two-year letter winner for the men’s baseball program. He helped the Knights reach their first Skyline Conference semifinal since 2003. In his senior season,Lehmann served as the relief ace for the Knights and boasted a 2.89 ERA.
In 2008, Lehmann graduated with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and in 2011 he earned his master’s of science in education.
A native of Mahwah, N.J., Lehmann now resides in Newburgh, N.Y.
