Mount Saint Mary College Athletics

John Elliot begins his fourth season as an assistant coach with the Mount Saint Mary College Softball program after joining the staff prior to the 2015 season.
 
Elliot brings a wealth of coaching experience to the Knights, serving as a travel softball coach with the Orange County Cyclones for 14 years. Over that time, he won over 30 championships, including the 16U USSSA New York State Championship in 2013, when his team was ranked eighth nationally.
 
In 2014, his 18U team won the USSSA Connecticut State Championship and in 2016 he mentored the Big League Eastern Regional Champions and went on to be a Big League World Series semifinalist.
 
Elliott, who was a pitcher at FDU from 1995-99, has helped guide the Knights to a back-to-back Skyline Conference Championships (2016, 2017) and has helped lead the Mount to a 69-37 overall record and an impressive 47-5 mark against league opponents.
