2023: Skyline Conference Academic Honor Roll...Career-best times in the 200-yard backstroke, 500-yard freestyle, and 100-yard backstroke at the Metropolitan Swimming Championships after recovering from a shoulder injury.
Personal: Daughter of Cathy and Ronald Sommer. Sister of Chris. Has two cats Bear and GiGi. Member of Kappa Mu Epsilon, Alpha Chi Honor Society, Kappa Delta Pi, and Chi Alpha Sigma. Helps coach the New York Sharks swim team. Representative for the Student Athlete Advisory Committee.
