NEWBURGH, N.Y. – Junior Michael D'Ambrosio of the men's swimming team and senior forward Brianna Guglielmo of the women's basketball team have been named this week's Knights of the Week.
 
D'Ambrosio posted lifetime bests in the 50 Yard Freestyle and 100 Yard Freestyle against York College, while also swimming a season best in the 100 Yard Breaststroke. D'Ambrosio came away with two first-place finishes and a second-place finish this past weekend.

Guglielmo scored a career-high 34 points in an 80-73 overtime win over Merchant Marine, breaking her previous high of 29 points in the Skyline Conference Championship game last season against Merchant Marine. She led the Knights to a 2-0 record on the week, while averaging 25.0 points on 47.4% shooting from the field and 41.7% from three, 6.0 rebounds, 4.0 steals, and 3.5 assists.
