NEWBURGH, N.Y. – Senior Christopher Closi of the men's golf team and junior defender Faith Welsh of the women's soccer team have been named this week's Knights of the Week.
 
Closi was the top performer for the Knights in the Skyline Conference Golf Championship. His outing earned him a top 10 finish and Skyline All-Conference Second Team, propelling the Mount to a 3rd place finish. He shot a 161 over both days, finishing 17 over par.

Welsh continues to be one of the best defenders on the field for the Knights. In both games this past week, she showed off her dual-threat ability with 3 goals and 2 assists, including the game-tying goal in the 81st minute in their match with St. Joseph's Long Island.
