Newburgh, NY- The Mount Saint Mary College Knights (6-3, 2-2 Skyline) fell to Farmingdale State College Rams (4-7, 1-1 Skyline) by a score of 15-6 in a game dedicated to raising awareness for Morgan's Message, an organization that supports athletes' mental health.
Defense Stands Strong Despite Penalties
The Knights' defense played a tough game, highlighted by 26 ground balls and 12 caused turnovers. Goalie
Liz Petrellese made 15 saves while facing 40 shots on goal. However, penalties proved costly for the Mount, as they were called for 6 fouls and 10 cards throughout the game. Head Coach
Mike Lowell commented on the penalties stating, "Penalties hurt us and allowed Farmingdale to pull away."
Offensive Struggles for the Knights
The Mount's offense struggled to find rhythm throughout the game, only managing 16 shots on goal. Â Attacker

"We have a quick turnaround for a game next week and we will be ready for that," Coach Lowell said. "We know what we need to work on and we will continue to build." The Knights will be back in action on the road against St. Joseph's University on April 10th at 4:00 pm.
