Newburgh, NY– The Mount Saint Mary College Knights softball team (8-17) faced the College at Old Westbury Panthers (15-8) in a doubleheader on Tuesday afternoon. The Knights battled hard in both contests, falling in a close Game 1 but securing a thrilling victory in Game 2.
Game 1: Old Westbury Edges Knights 2-0

MacDonald earned the win in a complete-game shutout performance, allowing just three hits while striking out four.

Coach Howe's Comments: "Game 1 was a tough, low-scoring battle. We had our chances but couldn't break through. I'm proud of how the team responded in the second game. Grace pitched a fantastic game and we were able to come through with some clutch hits at the end."
