Clearmont, FL- The weather so far for the Knights has been kind. The sun has been shinning and the team has been treated to some great weather for day two of the Spring Games tournament. The Knights took on both Ithaca College and Catholic University today. While the final scores of the game didn't come out in favor of the Mount, the team is still remaining positive.
"This is why we come down here. I know that playing these strong teams will prepare us for the Skyline Conference. We have the opportunity to compete and polish our skills. Our freshman have really stepped up and taken on important roles within the team. They have added new blood to the program and I am excited to see how they will continue to help shape our team for the next few years," said coach Sam Howe at the end of the day.
The Knight will get right back to it tomorrow as they play Marywood University at 12:30pm and follow that game with a second one against Kean University at 2:45pm.
