Coaches Corner
Coach Andy Crane spoke about this afternoon's match and his team's successful win, "I love match play. I wish we did more of it in the conference. The alternate shot format really made the guys work and have to think around the course and it showed because we split 1.5 to 1.5. Hudson Hill was the perfect match play course. The singles matches were very competitive and most came down to the last hole. We really dug deep on the back 9. It didn't surprise me that we were tied after 9. Purchase has a good team and knew they were going to play us tough." Crane also spoke about the fall season coming to an end, "It's been an outstanding season for us this fall. We've gotten great production from everybody in the lineup. Yes we were one spot off of where we wanted to be in the conference championship, but we have certainly taken giant steps forward as a program and feel very confident that our future is bright.."
