Freshman
Kyle Giuliano kicked off the meet for the men with a win in the 1000-yard freestyle, clocking in at 13:00.50. He kept up the momentum for another win in the 500-yard freestyle later on with a time of 6:09.52.
Edward Mills also made his debut as a Knight, snagging wins in both the 200-yard freestyle (2:06.18), and the 100-yard freestyle (57.18).
Michael D'Ambrosio took care of the 200-yard individual medley, earning first with a time of 2:25.73, before winning the 100-yard backstroke as well (1:08.55).
Jackson Lerner picked up wins for the Knights as well, in the 50-yard freestyle (24.55) and 100-yard butterfly (1:00.81).
The Knights are back in action on the road tomorrow, when they will compete against the College of Staten Island at 12 PM.
Head Coach Chris Mance reflected on this afternoon, saying how the back-to-back meets are meant to simulate a trials-and-finals format of the Metropolitan Championship meet the Knights will face at the end of the season.
"There were a lot of good things we can take away from today," said Coach Mance. "Everything we do is setting us up along a plan to go as fast as possible at the end of the year when it matters the most."
