Coaches Corner
Coach
Andy Crane was happy with his team's performance, but Crane spoke about how they have to do better down the stretch. Crane traveled to today's match with an underclassmen heavy squad to give them more game experience, "With 4 freshmen in the lineup it was a great experience to be in a back and forth match down to the wire, it didn't go our way this time but these guys will be better prepared when we get this situation again." Coach Crane praised Bezold for his performance, "Charlie has progressed and more importantly matured on the golf course. This was probably the best I saw him just play his game and take the breaks that came his way both good and bad. Honestly couldn't be prouder of him and happy that he got his first individual win in his freshman year." Finally, Crane was ecstatic for senior
Corey Sowers who had a career best round today, "It was a great swan song for Corey today, he really kept us in the game through the front 9. To finish off his college career with career bests is a heck of a sendoff."
