Newburgh, N.Y. – Mount Saint Mary College Athletic Director Drew Brown has named Kaitlyn Greenberg as the Knights' newest Assistant Athletic Trainer. Greenberg will work primarily with the women's soccer, men's basketball, softball, and baseball programs.

"We are excited to have Kaitlyn join the Knight family," said Brown. "She came very highly recommended and will play a key role in providing the best health care to our student-athletes."

A 2023 graduate of Alfred University, Greenberg worked with the Saxons' football, softball, women's basketball, men's basketball, women's lacrosse and cheer teams. She worked with the softball teams during a pair of Empire 8 Championship runs in 2021 and 2022. In the spring of 2023, she also worked with the hockey, softball and lacrosse teams at SUNY Geneseo. In addition, Greenberg completed clinical hours in the St. James Hospital Emergency Department, the Noyes Health Physical Therapy Department, Wayland Family and Sports Medicine, Hornell School District, and Wellsville Central School District.

"Our sports medicine department is proud to give optimal care for our student-athletes," said Head Athletic Trainer Hailey Anthony-Arsad. "The addition of Kaitlyn to our team will amplify our strengths and conquer new possibilities of what Athletic Training can mean for MSMC. We cannot wait to see her flourish."

In July of 2023, Greenberg earned her certification from the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA). She currently resides in Middletown, N.Y.
