Newburgh, N.Y. – The Mount Saint Mary College Men's Gold team opened the spring portion of the 2022-23 season on Friday with a 321-326 victory over visiting Cobleskill at the Powelton Club.
Patrick Shea (Warwick, N.Y.) led the way for the Mount with a third-place finish.

P. Shea picked up where he left off in the fall on Friday with an eight-over par 78 at the on the par-70 course at the Powelton Club. Shea finished in third place overall and three shots off the leader, Joshua House from Cobleskill.

Trevor Zamudio (Beacon, N.Y.) finished just behind P. Shea in fourth place, carding a 79 for the Knights.
Chris Shea (Warwick, N.Y.) and
John Del Bene (Poughkeepsie, N.Y.) completed a strong of four straight Knights on the leaderboard with scores of 80 and 84, respectively.

Matthew Ropiak (Staten Island, N.Y.) rounded out the five-player lineup for the Mount on Friday with an 87.

Mount Saint Mary will be back in action again on April 21 when they head to Eisenhower Park for the Old Westbury Invitational.
