Newburgh, N.Y. – The Mount Saint Mary College Women's Lacrosse team will be in action three times over the next six days, starting with a road trip to Marywood on Tuesday evening. The Knights continue the busy week on Thursday at home against Maine Maritime before heading to the Capital Region to take on Union Sunday afternoon. Victoria Ward (Oceanside, N.Y.) and freshman
Antonia Licardi (Pine Bush, N.Y.) lead the scoring attack for the Mount. Both players have scored five goals, assisted on three others and totaled eight points. Ward has added five groundballs and five draw controls for the Knights, while Licardi has caused a trio of turnovers to date.

Karli Ferrucci (Wappingers Falls, N.Y.) has potted four goals for the Knights and leads the team with eight draw controls.
Ella Garner (Wappingers Falls, N.Y.) and
Erica Schmidgall (North Massapequa, N.Y.) support the scoring attack with three goals apiece.

Liz Petrellese (Levittown, N.Y.) has made 23 saves through two games worth of work and holds a .590 save percentage and an 8.00 goals against average. Petrellese leads the conference in total saves while ranking third in both save percentage and goals against average.

Conference Honors: Following a hat trick on Saturday at Keuka, Licardi earned Skyline Conference Rookie of the Week honors in the first reporting period of the season.
Previewing The Pacers: Marywood enters Tuesday's contest at 2-2 overall. The Pacers won their first two outings of the season, but have since suffered losses to Lebanon Valley and Stockton.

Marywood features three players with at least 11 goals on the season, led by 12 markers from Kaitlyn Smith who adds a team-high six assists for 18 points. Smith has also accumulated eight groundballs and 20 draw controls.

Avery Meighan paces Marywood with 37 draw controls and 11 groundballs and supports the offense with 11 goals and 16 points. Emma Solomon has registered 11 goals and 15 points through four games while adding six groundballs and three caused turnovers.

Natalie Yilanjian leads the way with six caused turnovers and has totaled 12 points, while Alaina Brennaman has caused five miscues and scooped eight groundballs.

Emily Dyminski and Kortney Harry have split the goalie duties for the Pacers with each starting two contests. Dyminski holds a 4.79 goals against average and a .621 save percentage while stopping 18 shots with Harry turning aside 10 shots in just over 102 minutes of action.

Recent History: Tuesday's matchup will be the sixth between the two teams since 2012 with Marywood holding a 3-2 record. In 2022, the first meeting in the series since 2017, the Knights scored a hard fought 11-9 victory at Kaplan Field.

Scouting Maine Maritime: The Mariners are in the midst of a seven-game road trip to begin the season and enter a Tuesday tilt at Keystone with a 2-0 record. Maine Maritime has outscored its two opponents 32-11, including a 22-2 win at Centenary on Monday.

Hazel Stoddard leads the way for the Mariners with 15 goals and 17 points, adding team-highs with 14 groundballs and 18 draw controls. Olivia Harriman has potted five goals and totals eight points while Kirra Magana leads the team with four assists.

A Look At Union: Union began the season with a 15-10 road loss at MIT on Sunday and enters a road game at Castleton at 0-1 on the season.

Greta Maurer netted a hat trick in the season opener with Anna Smith and Sydney McPartlon each scoring a pair of goals.
