West Point, N.Y. – The Mount Saint Mary College Men's and Women's Track and Field teams closed out the Indoor Season on Saturday at the West Point Tune-Up. 
Christopher Christiano (Waterbury, Conn.) ran in three events on the track for the Knights and posted a personal best time in the Mile Run.
 
Christiano continued his strong Indoor Season on Saturday, posting a third-place finish in the 500-meters, a fourth place run in the 1,000-meters and an 11
th place finish in the Mile. Christiano posted a time of 1:10.74 in the 500-meters and 2:50.71 in the 1,000-meters to go along with his PR in the mile of 4:41.33.
 
Greg Casale (Staten Island, N.Y.) turned in a 27
th place finish in the Mile for the Knights with a time of 5:16.3 with 
Christian Pangione (Edgwater, N.J.) turning in a time of 5:40.93, good for 34
th place overall.
 
In the Weight Throw, 
Andrew Maloy had a strong outing, posting a mark of 10.73 meters which was good for 14
th place overall.
 
In the Women's meet, 
Lindsey Medina and 
Emily Schneider both advanced to the finals in the Weight Throw with Medina placing seventh with a mark of 10.72 meters and Schneider taking eighth with a heave of 10.57 meters.
 
Sarah Kannenberg (Poughkeepsie, N.Y.) led three Knights who had strong performances in the 800-meters on Saturday, taking 17
th place in a time of 2:53.24. 
Lily O'Brien (Hauppauge, N.Y.) took 19
th in 2:54.80 with 
Priya Patel (Ozone Park, N.Y.) placing 20
th in 2:56.14.
 
O'Brien also had a solid outing for the Knights in the Long Jump, placing 12
th overall with a leap of 4.22 meters.

Mount Saint Mary will begin the Outdoor Season with the MSMC Invitational on March 25 at Marlboro High School.
