Newburgh, NY- The Mount has a great week last week with teams earning so great wins for their seasons. While there were some nasty storms, as there have been all season, the Knight persevered. We have a wild up coming week with many teams playing multiple games in a row, to make up for postponed games.
Previous Week Recap
- Men's Soccer- While they dropped their first game of the week to St. Joe's they rebounded back in amazing fashion as they got a huge 3-2 win over Purchase on Saturday. Prior to the match, the team and college recognized their seniors.
- Women's Soccer- The women's team went 1-1 on the week. Beating Farmingdale 2-0 and dropping a match to USMMA on Saturday.
- Golf- Men's golf started the week off a bit slow finishing in 4th place at the Manhattanville Skyline Invitational, but came out swinging in the Mitchell College Invite, finishing in first place.
- Esports- The Esports team has entered the meat of their season, as all the teams are competing. Last week the Rocket League and League of Legends teams struggled a bit, but the Smash team held strong and got a win over Utica University.
- Women's Tennis- Still trying to find a foothold, the team dropped matches on Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday.
- Women's Volleyball- Celebrated a win over Purchase College on Thursday, which has Coach Strano closing in on a coaching milestone.
