Newburgh, N.Y. – In the final home meet of the season, the Mount Saint Mary College Men's Swimming team will take on league rival Purchase and the Women's squad will square-off with Purchase and John Jay Saturday afternoon on Senior Day. Events at the Kaplan Center Pool are scheduled to begin at 12:00 p.m.

Tyler Williams (Middlebury, Conn.),
Kristen Dwight (Newfield, N.J.) and
Emily Gursky (Oakville, Conn.) during Saturday's meet.
MSMC Men At A Glance: Mount Saint Mary enters Saturday's meet with a 2-5 overall record and a 1-2 mark against league rivals following conference defeats to USMMA and Maritime on Wednesday.
Tagliareni finished the night with third place points for the Mount in the 200-yard individual medley, 100-yard freestyle and 100-yard breaststroke. Tagliareni touched out in the IM in a time of 2:12.13 before posting marks of 52.44 seconds and 1:15.68 in the freestyle and breaststroke events, respectively.
Williams also turned in a pair of strong swims for the Knights, taking the third position in the 1,000-yard freestyle and the fourth spot in the 500-yard freestyle. His third-place finish came in 11:47.09 before touching out in a time of 6:03.57 in the 500-yard event.
Jackson Lerner (Bayside, N.Y.) picked up a pair of fourth place finishes for the Knights, swimming to a time of 24.25 seconds in the 50-yard freestyle and 1:00.99 in the 100-yard butterfly.
To close out the evening, the 200-yard freestyle relay team placed fourth with the team of Lerner, Williams,
Atticus Salazar (Queens, N.Y.) and
Christopher Astacio (Bronx, N.Y.) completing the event in 1:55.35.
MSMC Women At A Glance: The Knights split a conference tri-meet on Wednesday at USMMA, topping Maritime and falling to the host Mariners. Following Wednesday's results, the Knights stand at 3-6 overall and 2-3 in conference action.
Grace MacHugh (Newburgh, N.Y.), who was named the Skyline Conference Rookie of the Week earlier on Wednesday, cruised to a 1,000-yard victory for the Knights, posting a time of 11:55.65 and winning the event by better than 50 seconds. MacHugh rounded out a strong night for the Mount with a third place showing in the 500-yard freestyle, posting a time of 5:50.56.
Kitty Masayda (Watertown, Conn.) also turned in a big meet for the Mount, scoring a runner-up and two third place finishes. Masayda posted a time of 1:16.68 in the 100-yard breaststroke, good for the second position, and took third in both the 200-yard individual medley and 100-yard butterfly in 2:32.12 and 1:08.37, respectively.
Stefanie Sommer (Monroe, N.Y.) and
Gursky each turned in runner-up finishes for the Mount, with Sommer touching out in 28.06 seconds in the 50-yard freestyle and Gursky showing a time of 1:12.09 in the 100-yard backstroke. Gursky also swam to a fourth-place finish in the 200-yard freestyle for the Knights, showing a time of 2:18.63.
Dwight made her second straight appearance on the one-meter diving board for the Knights on Wednesday and placed fourth with a score of 136.20. In the pool, Dwight scored a third-place finish in the 100-yard freestyle, completing the race in 1:03.91.
Mount Saint Mary completed the night with a second-place finish in the 200-yard freestyle relay. The team of Gursky, MacHugh, Dwight and Sommer produced a time of 1:54.00 for the Knights.
