Flushing, N.Y. – The Mount Saint Mary College Women's Tennis team took the road Saturday afternoon and suffered a 9-0 non-conference loss at Pratt. Saturday's match will be the last competition for the Knights until October 5.
Mount Saint Mary fell behind 3-0 following doubles play with top pair of
Julia Flynn (Naugatuck, Conn.) and
Sadie McNair (Newburgh, N.Y.) falling 8-2.
In singles action,
Carly Green (Holbrook, N.Y.) battled in a 5-7, 1-6 second singles loss, while McNair dropped a 3-6, 1-6 decision at the third position.
Saturday's loss drops Mount Saint Mary to 2-5 overall on the season. The Knights will be off until October 5 when they play host to league rival Purchase.
