Danbury, Conn. – The Mount Saint Mary College Men's Golf team returned to the course on Friday and earned a 340-344 dual match victory at Western Connecticut.
Trevor Zamudio (Beacon, N.Y.) posted the lowest score of the match, earning medalist honors for the Knights.
Playing on the par-71 course at Richter Park, Zamudio was the only player in the match to break 80. He carded a 79 for the Knights, finishing the event at eight-over par.
Chris Shea (Warwick, N.Y.) continued his steady play on the season with an 83 for the Knights, with
J.T. Maccarrone (Lakeland, N.Y.) closed out the day with an 88 for the Mount.
Jonathan Kara (White Plains, N.Y.) rounded out the Mount's line up with a 90, while
Owen Gallagher (Watertown, Mass.) turned in a 93 for the Knights.
Friday's win pushes Mount Saint Mary to 2-0 in dual matches on the season. The Knights continued the fall season on Monday when they take part in the Manhattanville Invitational.
