Newburgh, N.Y. – The Mount Saint Mary College Softball team returns to action Tuesday afternoon when it travels to Ramapo for a midweek doubleheader with the Roadrunners. First pitch in Mahwah, N.J. is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. with Live Stats and Video available for those who are unable to attend.

The Knights feature a pair of hitters batting over .300 through the season's first seven games in
Nicole Rosner (Brewster, N.Y.) and
Olivia Ferara (Middletown, N.Y.). Rosner is hitting .308 in 13 at-bats with a run and an RBI while Ferara checks in with a .304 batting average in a team-high 23 at-bats. Ferara leads the team with seven hits and is tied for the team lead with three runs scored.
Alicia Killeen (Nesconset, N.Y.) and
Samantha Bendig (Tampa, Fla.) sit atop the team leaderboard with four RBI apiece. Bendig is hitting .263 to go along with three walks and a .364 on-base percentage.
Rosner paces the pitching staff with a 2.10 earned run average over three starts. She has worked 13.1 innings and struck out five batters.
Christen Hansen (Cypress, Calif.) has worked a team-high 17.1 innings over six appearances and holds the team's lone win to date. Hansen has worked to a 3.23 ERA and fanned five opponent batters.
A Look At Ramapo: The Roadrunners enter Tuesday's set at 6-3 overall and are coming off losses to Wisconsin-River Falls and Farmingdale State on March 18, their final games in Florida.
The Roadrunners offense features six players hitting better than .400 through nine contests. Alexis Corra leads the way, hitting at an even .500, leading the team with 15 hits, including six for extra bases, and 12 RBI.
Jaclyn Monaco sits atop the team leaderboard with 12 runs scored, is hitting .433 and is a perfect 10-for-10 in stolen base chances. Carli Egan is hitting .406 on the season and has driven in 10 runs for Ramapo.
Mahogany Wheeler is 3-2 in the circle for Ramapo over five appearances, working a team-high 24.2 innings. Wheeler is pitching to a 2.55 earned run average and has struck out 17. Marissa DiPaolo is 2-1 over 22.0 innings pitched and leads the team with 19 punchouts to go along with a 2.86 ERA.
Recent History: The Knights and Roadrunners have played six games since the start of the 2014 season and will meet on Tuesday for the first time since April 11, 2018. Ramapo holds a 5-1 record over that span with the Mount's lone win coming in 5-3 decision in game one of a doubleheader played in Newburgh on April 12, 2017.
