The Knights Women's Lacrosse team is getting ready for a 17-game under the direction of Head Coach 
Mike Lowell. The season gets underway on February 19 on the road at Wilkes.
 
The Knights bring back a balanced attack with returning First Team All-Conference selection 
Megan Shalvey (Blauvelt, N.Y.) leading the way. Shalvey led with team in goals with 15 and points with 20. She was also second on the team in assist with five.
 
Victoria Ward (Oceanside, N.Y.) chipped in six goals and a team-high seven assists. Ward also led the team in draw controls with 23 with 
Kathryn McQuillan (Baldwin, N.Y.) rounding out the upperclassmen attack.
 
Ashley Giorgi (Danbury, Conn.) is a go to sophomore with the second most goals on the team with nine. 
Alyssa Alvarez (Harrison, N.Y.), 
Kaitlyn DeLorenzo (Southington, Conn.) and Erica Schmigdall (North Massapequa, N.Y.) look to support the offensive attack in 2022.
 
The Midfield position features seniors 
Jackie Lindsay (Baldwin N.Y.), and 
Annie Dolan (Poughkeepsie, N.Y.) as well as junior 
Carolyn Del Debbio (Plantsville, Conn.)
 
Sophomore 
Ella Garner (Wappingers Falls, N.Y.) who appeared in every game in her first collegiate season returns in 2022. Newcomers Anatazia Sakowicz (Newburgh, N.Y.) and attack/midfield 
Karlie Ferrucci (Wappingers Falls, N.Y.) fill out the underclassmen spots.
 
The Knights bring back Second Team All-Conference defense/midfield sophomore 
Kate Crooker (Boonton, N.J.) who paced the team in caused turnovers with 11 and was third on the team in groundballs with nine.
 
Maggie Horan (Stony point, N.Y.) and 
Sinead Henry (Pearl River, N.Y.) are in the sophomore class for the defense/Midfield position. 
Kerrigan Shaw (Prospect, Conn.) is the lone senior on defense with junior 
Michelle Licata (Plainview, N.Y.) bringing a versatile attack for the Knights playing attack/defense.
 
The Knight bring back a trio of goalies led by senior 
Gracie Monahan (Deer park, N.Y.), sophomore goalie 
Mary Massaro (Watertown, Conn.) and rookie goalie 
Liz Petrellese (Levittown, N.Y.) who will make her collegiate debut in 2022.
 
The schedule opens with Saturday's road game at Wilkes before the Mount plays four straight home games starting with Dominican on February 26.
 
Mount Saint Mary finished an abbreviated 2021 schedule with a 1-5 overall record.
