Mount Saint Mary To Welcome Back Fans Starting February 1

Please see below for important information regarding updated spectator policy

NEWBURGH, N.Y. – Mount Saint Mary College Athletics will lift the pause of spectators at all home events effective Tuesday, February 1. Policies may vary moving forward based on venue. Please be sure to read and follow policies by specific facility to ensure full compliance and admission.
 
Kaplan Recreation Center (Basketball)
 
  1. All fans MUST wear masks indoors at all times regardless of vaccination status. Masks must be worn completely covering the mouth and nose.
  2. ALL FANS 18 and over must show proof of full vaccination upon entry to the facility (2 shots of Pfizer or Moderna, 1 shot of J & J) – either NYS Excelsior Pass or vaccination cards are acceptable OR Proof of documented positive Covid-19 case in the last 90 days.
  3. Fans may also produce a negative PCR test within 72 hours prior to gameday or a negative rapid result within 24 hours prior. 
  4. No food or drink permitted in the gym.
  5. Spectators are not permitted to interact with student-athletes or coaches before, during or after events. Kaplan Center will be cleared immediately following events.
  6. Spectators must complete the MSMC Daily Health Screener - msmc.edu/screening and show confirmation upon entry -
  7. NO PETS ALLOWED
 
Spectators not in adherence to this policy will be removed from the site of competition.
