Women’s Swimming Earns CSCAA Fall Scholar All-America Team Honors

Knights earned honor for first time

Richmond, Va. – The Mount Saint Mary College Women's Swimming team has been recognized as a Collegiate Swimming and Division Association of America (CSCAA) Fall Scholar All-America Team it was announced Monday evening. The Knights also become one of seven teams to earn All-American Team honors from the CSCAA for the first time after posting a Fall team grade point average of 3.18.
 
Greg Earhart, CSCAA Executive Director highlighted Mount Saint Mary's achievements noting, "Coach Mance has done a tremendous job. These five women are some of the best ambassadors that Mount Saint Mary and the Skyline could ask for." 
 
In total, 728 teams from 450 colleges and universities earned the honor and those with a GPA of 3.3 or higher will now become eligible for the Intercollegiate Coach Association Coalition All-Sport Academic Standings.
 
Mount Saint Mary joins four other women's programs: Fairleigh Dickinson, Husson, Moravian and Alderson Broaddus and men's programs from Nebraska Omaha and Alderson Broaddus as first time CSCAA All-America Teams.
 
Mount Saint Mary completed the two-day Skyline Conference Championship on Sunday in fifth place and will close the 2021-22 season starting on February 17 at the three-day Metropolitan Championship Meet.
