Newburgh, N.Y. – The Mount Saint Mary College Women's Tennis team travels to Sarah Lawrence on Friday to close out play in the regular season. The Knights, who need a win to force a three-way tie for the final Skyline Conference Championship berth, and Gryphons will get underway at 5:30 p.m. Friday evening.

At A Glance: The Mount enters Friday's road match with a 6-3 overall record and a 2-3 mark in Skyline Conference play. With a win the Knights, Gryphons and St. Joseph's-L.I. would all be 3-3 in league play.
Carly Green (Holbrook, N.Y.) leads the way for the Knights in singles play with a 7-2 record out of the third position with
Julia Flynn (Naugatuck, Conn.) entering the final regular season match with a 6-3 record out of the second singles flight.
Katrina Imperio (Campbell Hall, N.Y.),
Gracie Monahan (Deer Park, N.Y.) and
Victoria Valencia (Floral Park, N.Y.) have all earned three singles wins on the season for the Knights.
In doubles play, the second pair of Valencia and
Katie Murray (Highland Mills, N.Y.) have produced an impressive 7-1 record with Monahan and Imperio winning three of their four matches together at the third flight.
A Look At The Gryphons: Sarah Lawrence begins Frida's match with a 7-3 overall record and a 3-2 mark against conference opponents. The Gryphons have won each of their last two meetings, topping league rivals Manhattanville and Yeshiva by scores of 5-4 and 6-3, respectively.
Sasha Conner and Sophie Holmes lead the Gryphons with five singles wins apiece, with Conner holding a 4-2 mark at the third position and Holmes winning matches at the third, fourth and fifth positions.
At the top flight Isabella Hardman is the team leader with a 2-2 record, while Simi Rao and Hardman have each won twice at the second flight.
In doubles play, Holmes and Connor are 3-1 at the second position for the Gryphons with Hardman holding a 4-2 record at the top flight with two different partners.
Recent History: Since the start of the 2007 season, the Mount and Sarah Lawrence have squared off eight times with the Knights holding a 6-2 record. The Mount has won each of the last five meetings, including a tight 5-4 victory last spring.
