Bronx, N.Y. - The Mount Saint Mary College Men's Golf team started the season a strong note as the Knights won the Yeshiva Tri-Match by ten strokes on Friday morning at the Pelham Bay Golf Course. The Knights finished with a team score of 318 as Yeshiva finished with a 328 and Old Westbury shot a 374 as a team.
Sophomore
Patrick Shea (Warwick, N.Y.) fired a career best five-over 76 to lead the Mount. Junior
Daniel Schena (Cheshire, Conn.) also fired a six-over 77 for the Knights as senior
Matt Higgins (Meriden, Conn.) finished the round with a 79.Â
Sophomore
Chris Shea (Warwick, N.Y.) finished the day with an 86 and junior
Ryan Bayer (New Windsor, N.Y.) shot a 101 to round out the day for the Mount.

The Knights return to action on Friday, September 20 when the Mount heads to Farmingdale State to take part in the Farmingdale State Skyline Invitational at Bethpage Red.
