Newburgh, N.Y. – Coming off a 7-2 home loss to Purchase on Tuesday, the Mount Saint Mary College Men's Tennis team continues Skyline Conference play on Saturday afternoon at St. Joseph's-L.I. Following the 12:00 p.m. road match on Saturday, the Mount will finish off a four match in seven-day stretch with a non-league home contest with Rutgers-Newark on Sunday starting at 11:00 a.m.

Sophomore
Jaden Tiriolo (Cheshire, Conn.) is off to a strong start and is unbeaten in six outings for the Knights at the third singles position. At 6-0 he is the lone Knight to hold an unbeaten singles record who has appeared in more than two matches.
Senior
Shane Terry (Southampton, N.Y.) is an even 3-3 at the second singles position through six matches, with
Matt Gallo (Clark, N.J.) holding a 2-2 record at fourth singles for the Mount.
In doubles play, the top pair of Tiriolo and senior
Chris McGorty (Bellmore, N.Y.) has won four of their six matches together with
Joe Ryan (Wantagh, N.Y.) and
David Gonzalez (Middletown, N.Y.) posting a 3-3 mark at the third flight.
Mount Saint Mary is 19-17 overall in singles matches on the season, but just 2-10 against Skyline Conference opponents. The Knights are 11-5 in doubles action with a 1-5 mark against league rivals.
A Look At St. Joseph's-L.I.: The Golden Eagles are 2-3 overall on the year and 0-2 in league play. St. Joseph's stopped a three match losing streak on Thursday with a 9-0 over York (N.Y.), giving it its first win since a season opening triumph over Lehman on March 29.
The Golden Eagles' top three singles players all hold a 2-3 record on the season, including Ryan Freeley at the top flight, Kyle Conway at the second position and Nick Bongiorno at third singles. Dylan Trude is 3-2 on the year, going unbeaten in three decisions at the fifth singles slot.
In doubles play, Conway and Freeley hold a 2-2 mark at the top flight with Kenneth Pettersen and Bongiorno winning one of their three matches together at the second position.
St. Joseph's enters the weekend with a 13-16 team singles record that includes a 1-10 mark against league rivals and a 6-9 team record in doubles play, including an 0-6 Skyline Conference record.
Scouting Rutgers-Newark: The Scarlet Raiders enter a non-conference match with Albertus Magnus on Saturday winless in three outings this spring. In its last outing, Rutgers-Newark dropped a 6-3 decision to FDU-Florham on March 29.
A trio of Scarlet Raiders have picked up a singles win, with Sebastian Narath holding a 1-2 record at the top position. Shadman Munshi is 1-1 at the fifth slot and Vihang Patel has split his two decisions at the sixth position.
In doubles play, the duo of Richard Nguyen and Veer Kachhiapatel have posted a 1-1 record at the second position, good for the team's lone doubles victory on the year.
Overall, the Scarlet Raiders hold a 3-15 singles record and a 1-8 mark in doubles competition.
