Newburgh, N.Y. – The Mount Saint Mary College Women's Lacrosse team returns to action on Tuesday night when it plays host to Ramapo at Kaplan Field. Opening draw is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.

Junior
Courtney Condron (Franklin Square, N.Y.) scored three goals to lead the Knights as
Providence Gilkey (Shirley, N.Y.),
Jackie Lindsay (Baldwin, N.Y.) and
Alyssa DiMare (Staten Island, N.Y.) each had a goal for the Mount. Freshman Annie Dolan (Poughkeepsie, N.Y.) also found the net and had the lone assist on the day.
Hope Blanc (Wantagh, N.Y.) picked up a team-high four groundballs as well as four caused turnovers.
Liz Halpin (LaGrangeville, N.Y.) earned six draw controls.
Jackie Finkel (Warwick, N.Y.) suffered the tough luck loss in goal with a strong 10 save performance. She added a trio of groundballs for the Knights on the day.
Castleton finished the day with a 29-17 advantage in shots on Sunday and an 18-16 edge in shots on goal. The Spartans also finished the day with slim edges in groundballs at 23-21 and draw controls 9-8. The Knights finished 13-for-24 in clearing chances, while Castleton wrapped up at 11-for-17.
Scouting The Roadrunners: Ramapo opens their season at Kaplan Field on Tuesday after its contest against Regis College was cancelled on Saturday. The Roadrunners are coming off a 6-9 (1-5 NJAC) 2018 season in which they defeated Mount Saint Mary 11-10 on March 20. Ramapo was voted to finish tied for sixth in the seven-team NJAC preseason poll.
Ramapo returns four of its five leading goal scorers including senior midfielder Molly Warner, who started all 15 games and recorded 12 goals and seven assists last season. Shannon Eagan tallied 26 goals and four assists last season while Gabi Davidson who collected 22 goals and a team high 11 assists in 2018. Ava Rinaldi also returns as she posted 20 goals and five assists a season ago.

What's Next: Following Tuesday's contest, the Knights are scheduled to return to action on Thursday, March 14 as they play their first road contest of the season against Manhattanville. First draw against the Valiants is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
