Scarsdale, N.Y. – The Mount Saint Mary College Men's Golf team returned to the course on Sunday and posted a 312-382 victory at the College of Mount Saint Vincent. Junior
Matt Higgins (Meriden, Conn.) led the way for the Mount with a career best score.
Higgins worked his way around the par-69 course at Saxon Woods in a four over-par 73 to lead the Mount for the second straight outing. He was one of two Knights to break 80 in the win, with sophomore
Daniel Schena (Cheshire, Conn.) carding a 78 for the Knights.
Freshman
Tyler Gregory (Niskayuna, N.Y.) continued the strong start to his career with an 81 on Sunday, with classmate
Patrick Shea (Warwick, N.Y.) firing an 80 for the Mount. Senior
Bryan Gayton (Cornwall-on-Hudson, N.Y.) rounded out the five for the Knights with an 86.
Following Sunday's victory, Mount Saint Mary returns to action on October 7 when it takes on league rival Yeshiva.
