Women's Tennis Returns To Action Against Sage On Wednesday

Knights look to snap four match skid

Newburgh, N.Y. – The Mount Saint Mary College Women's Tennis team begins a four match stretch in five days against The Sage Colleges at home on Wednesday at 5 p.m. The Knights travel to Brooklyn College on Friday at 4 p.m. and head to league rival St. Joseph's-LI on Saturday at 1 p.m. The Mount closes the week at home against St. Joseph's-Brooklyn on Sunday.

At a Glance: The Knights are 4-5 on the season after losing 5-4 to Yeshiva on Sunday.

Michelle Carnovale is 7-1 in singles matches this season. Katie Murray is 6-1 in singles on the year and classmate Sarah Canzone is 6-2 on the year in doubles matches with four different partners to go aong with a 4-2 singles mark.

A Look At The Sage Colleges: The Gators are 5-7 on the year after being swept by Stevens, 9-0.

Scouting Brooklyn College: The Bulldogs are 11-1 on the year after defeating Lehman, 5-4.

Analyzing St. Joseph's-LI: The Eagles are 5-2 after defeating Farmingdale, 8-1.

Previewing St. Joseph's-Brooklyn: The Bears are 2-6 after being swept by St. Joseph's-LI, 9-0.

Men's Team Returns to Action: The Men's Team also takes the court against The Sage Colleges on Wednesday night at 5 p.m.

What's Next: The Knights begin the Skyline Conference Championships on Wednesday, October 17th at the highest seed.
