Newburgh, N.Y. – The Mount Saint Mary College Men's Tennis team won its fourth straight match and evened its Skyline Conference record on Thursday night with a 9-0 home win over St. Joseph's-Brooklyn.
Owen Heath (Jamestown, R.I.) and
Kyle McIntyre (Drexel Hill, Pa.) each posted 6-0, 6-0 singles wins.
Heath, competing in his third match of the spring, moved to a perfect 3-0 on the year at fourth singles with a 6-0, 6-0 triumph. McIntyre won his second straight singles match for the Knights on Thursday, posting a 6-0, 6-0 win at the sixth position and moving to 3-6 overall on the season in singles play.

Matt Anastasi (Salisbury Hills, N.Y.) won his fifth straight singles decision and moved to 8-1 on the season with an impressive 6-1, 6-1 first singles win on Thursday. Sophomore
Chris McGorty (Bellmore, N.Y.) moved his singles winning streak to three matches with a 6-1, 6-0 triumph at second singles.

Shane Terry (Southampton, N.Y.) won a 6-0, 6-2 decision at third singles to move to 3-5 in singles play and
Chris Jaros (Marlboro, N.Y.) won his first singles match of the season with a 6-0, 7-6 (7-3) fifth singles victory.
The Knights rolled in doubles play to open the match on Thursday, with Anastasi and McGorty blanking the Bears' top pair, 8-0. Terry and Heath moved to 3-0 together at second doubles with an 8-2 win, while McIntyre and
Joe Ryan (Wantagh, N.Y.) posted an 8-2 third singles win.
Thursday's win pushes Mount Saint Mary to 4-5 on the season and to 2-2 in Skyline Conference play. Next up for the Knights is a road league tilt at St. Joseph's-L.I. on Monday. Match time with the Golden Eagles is set for 5:30 p.m.
