Bronx, N.Y. – The Mount Saint Mary College Golf team was back in action Saturday with a 321-451 Skyline Conference victory over the College of Mount Saint Vincent. Freshman
Daniel Schena (Cheshire, Conn.) carded a75 for the Knights in the victory.
Schena posted the team's low score for the second time in three outings on Saturday and was one of two players to break 80 on the day at Split Rock Golf Course. Senior
Dylan Legg (Haines Falls, N.Y.) finished two strokes behind Schena with a 77 for the Knights.
Sophomore
Matt Higgins (Meriden, Conn.) carded and 82 on Saturday against the Dolphins with
Ryan Bayer (New Windsor, N.Y.) firing an 87 in his debut for the Mount.
Saturday's win gives the Knights a 2-0 record in conference duals in 2017 with the MSMC Skyline Invitational up next for the Knights on October 13.
