Newburgh, N.Y. – The Mount Saint Mary College Women's Tennis Team will return to Skyline Conference play with a road match at Yeshiva on Tuesday night and will welcome non-conference foe Lehman to the Kaplan Tennis Courts on Thursday. In addition, the Men's squad will continue its fall season on Wednesday with a non-conference home match against Rutgers-Newark.

At A Glance: After a successful 2-1 weekend that included a 9-0 Skyline Conference win over St. Joseph's-Brooklyn, the Mount Saint Mary women's squad will head to Yeshiva on Tuesday with a 3-5 overall record and a 2-1 mark in Skyline Conference play.

Michelle Carnovale (Massapequa, N.Y.) remains the Mount's only player without a blemish on her singles record as she stands at an impressive 8-0 on the season. She has also teamed with senior
Alissa Gileau (East Granby, Conn.) at the top doubles position for a 5-3 record in 2016.

Miyanna Vernon (Liberty, N.Y.) and sophomore
Mikayla Zaccaria (Point Lookout, N.Y.) are also putting together strong seasons, with each player holding a 5-2 mark in singles play. Vernon has gone a perfect 2-0 at the sixth position and won three other matches at fifth singles, while Zaccaria holds an unblemished 4-0 mark at fourth singles.

Through eight matches, Mount Saint Mary stands at 26-22 in singles play, including a 12-6 mark in conference competition and has posted a 12-12 mark in doubles play, which includes a 6-3 mark against conference rivals.

Scouting Yeshiva: The Maccabees have raced out to a perfect 8-0 start to the 2016 season, including a 5-0 mark in conference competition. Yeshiva holds a .773 winning percentage in singles play (34-10) and is coming off a hard fought 5-4 victory over Sage in its last outing.

Shani Hava has won each of her six matches at first singles on the season and the Macs have five players without a singles loss on the year. Lindsay Frucher has won a team-high seven singles matches (7-0), including a 4-0 mark at the fifth position, and Anita Levy holds a 6-0 mark on the year, winning three matches at both the fifth and sixth flight.

In doubles play, Yeshiva is 18-6 as a team, including 11-4 in league play, and is led by a 5-1 record from Hava and Rebecca Packer at the top position. Frucher and Adele Lerner have posted an impressive 4-1 mark playing three matches as the second pair of two matches at the third spot.

A Look At Lehman: The Lightning enter a Tuesday match against Purchase with a 5-1 record overall and have won each of their last four outings. Lehman posted 9-0 wins over Brooklyn and New Rochelle to start the streak and added a 5-4 win over Kean and a 6-2 win over St. Joseph's-Brooklyn.

The Mount Men: The Knights' men's squad will be back on the court for the first time since a tough 5-4 loss to Bard on September 15.

Through two fall matches, senior
Matt Anastasi (Salisbury Hills, N.Y.) is 2-0 at first singles and has earned half of the team's four singles wins thus far in the fall.
