Newburgh, N.Y. – The Mount Saint Mary College Men's Tennis team returned to action on Sunday afternoon, dropping a home Skyline Conference match to visiting Yeshiva by a score of 9-0. The third doubles team of 
Dan Witke (Brooklyn, N.Y.) and 
Joe Borden (Newburgh, N.Y.) dropped a tough decision for the Knights.
 
Witke and Borden fell to the Yeshiva pair of Mikey Ozery and Eitan Rudansky by a score of 9-7, while the Knights' second pair of 
Nate Dimmie (Middletown, N.Y.) and 
Shane Terry (Southampton, N.Y.) put up a strong fight before falling 8-6.
 
In singles, play, Witke dropped a 6-1, 6-3 match to Ozery at the third position, while Borden fell 6-3, 6-3 to Charlie Friedman at the fifth spot. 
Chris McGorty (Bellmore, N.Y.) took a 6-3, 6-2 loss to Steven Jemal at fourth singles.
 
With the loss, Mount Saint Mary falls to 3-3 overall and to 1-1 in conference play. The Knights will be right back in action again on Monday night when they play host to St. Joseph's-L.I. Match time with the Golden Eagles is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
