GREEN ISLAND, N.Y. – The Mount Saint Mary College men's golf team picked up a spring-season victory over the Sage Colleges in the Sage Spring Invitational by a score of 324-383 on Monday at the Van Schaick Country Club.
Sophomore
Alex Harcher was the overall leader at the event, shooting a 77 on the day. Freshman
Dylan Legg was right behind him with a 78. Sophomore
Owen Heath (Jamestown, R.I.) tied for third overall with Sage's DJ Ioele with an 80. Freshman
John Celiberti was next with an 89. Sophomore
Rich Cooper (Walden, N.Y.) rounded up the Knights' afternoon with a 122.
Monday was the Knights' final scheduled match for the 2014-15 academic year. The Knights finished third overall at the Skyline Conference Championships back in October 2014. They also won their first tournament as a varsity program back on Sept. 15, 2014, when they defeated two other Skyline teams at the Sage Golf Fall Invitational.
