Mahwah, N.J. – Playing it second match of the fall, the Mount Saint Mary Men's Tennis team fell on the road at Ramapo on Tuesday by a score of 7-2. Sophomore
Chris Jaros (Marlboro, N.Y.) scored the lone singles victory for the Knights against the Roadrunners.
Jaros, playing at the sixth position on Tuesday, picked up a 3-6, 6-3, 10-4 triumph for the Knights to move to move to 1-1 in singles play on the season.
In doubles play, Mount Saint Mary picked up a victory over Ramapo at the third position. Senior
Joe Borden (Newburgh, N.Y.) teamed with freshman Shane Terry to down the pair from Ramapo by a score of 9-7. The victory was the first in Terry's career.
With Tuesday's loss Mount Saint Mary falls to 0-2 overall on the season.
