Match ResultsNEWARK, N.J. – The Mount Saint Mary College men's tennis team (5-3) took down non-conference opponent Rutgers-Newark (1-2) Tuesday afternoon on the Golden Dome Courts. 
The Knights kicked off the evening with wins and No. 1 and No. 2 doubles. Senior 
Greg Jacob (Ridgefield, Conn.) and junior 
Nate Dimmie (Middletown, N.Y.) took down Ray Postadon and Stan Wu at flight one, 8-1, while sophomore 
Mike Balokoz (Milford, Conn.) and freshman 
Gavin McNulty (Darien, Conn.) grabbed the victory at flight two over Elijah Kim and Ronald Luyo, 8-0. 
Dimmie, Balokoz and McNulty each won their singles matches at flights two, three and four, respectively. Junior 
Connor Bean (Glenville, N.Y.) took down Matt Palka in a very close match at No. 5, 6-4, 6-7, 6-3. Sophomore 
Joe Borden (Newburgh, N.Y.) picked up the win at No. 6 over Luyo, 6-4, 6-0. 
The Knights continue a busy week tomorrow, April 2, with a crucial matchup with three-time defending Skyline Champion Farmingdale State College. The match, which was rescheduled from March 29, will begin at 6 p.m. in Farmingdale, N.Y.
