NEWBURGH, N.Y. - Mount Saint Mary College won its third straight match on Sunday, rolling to an 8-1 victory over Rutgers-Newark in non-conference action. The Knights improve to 6-3 overall, while the Scarlet Raiders drop to 0-1.

Nate Dimmie (Middletown, N.Y.) won five straight games from 2-2 on to earn an 8-3 decision. Senior
Bryan Pujol (East Rockaway, N.Y.) and sophomore
Conor Merryman (Marlboro, N.Y.) continued to serve well at third doubles and came away with an 8-4 win.
Down the singles lineup, Dimmie rolled to a 6-1, 6-0 win at second singles, while Willand earned a 6-1, 6-2 decision at number three. Balokoz added a 6-2, 6-3 win at number four. Freshman
Dan Witke (Brooklyn, N.Y.) continued to grind out wins at number five, emerging with a 6-1, 6-4 victory, while sophomore
Connor Bean (Glenville, N.Y.) was solid in a 6-3, 6-3 effort at number six.
Rutgers-Newark senior Raymond Postadan (Roselle Park, N.J.) edged Jacob at the top of the lineup, 7-5, 6-3, for the only point of the afternoon for the Scarlet Raiders.
The Knights return to action on Tuesday with a trip to Fairleigh Dickinson Florham. The match, weather pending, is scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
