Stat Willand (Sparta, N.J.) didn't conceded a single game in two matches on Thursday afternoon, leading Mount Saint Mary College to a 9-0 win over Baptist Bible in the spring opener for the Knights. The Mount improves to 2-0 for the year.

Jacob provided the singles highlight with a three-set win at the top of the lineup. After losing the second set, 6-1, Jacob was able to make a few key adjustments at the start of the third and went on to win, 6-4, 1-6, 6-3. Willand rolled at number two (6-0, 6-0) while Dimmie pulled out a tight first set tiebreaker en route to a 7-6 (7-5), 6-1 victory at three. Balokoz was a 6-1, 6-0 winner at number four, freshman
Dan Witke (Brooklyn, N.Y.) eased to a 6-1, 6-1 win at five, and sophomore
Conor Merryman (Marlboro, N.Y.) pitched a shutout at number six, 6-0, 6-0.
The Knights head to Florida next week, opening up play on Monday, March 4 against King's College.
