NEWBURGH, N.Y. – The Mount Saint Mary College women's swimming team defeated St. Joseph's College on Saturday, 117-86, in the final meet before next weekend's Metropolitan Conference Championships. The Knights finish the dual meet season at 11-4.
Mount Saint Mary won six of the nine individual events, benefitting from a pair of victories each from junior
Censi Danner (Saugerties, N.Y.), sophomore
Kassie Kayal (Wayne, N.J.), and freshman
Allison Wyatt (Hopewell Junction, N.Y.)
Danner completed a sprint sweep, taking the 50 freestyle (26.56) and the 100 freestyle (58.86). Wyatt captured the 200 individual medley (2:27.60) and the 100 breaststroke (1:14.59), while Kayal took home the 200 freestyle (2:18.68) and the 500 freestyle (6:11.48).

Alex Taliana (Westbury, N.Y.) for a time of 1:58.25, nearly 12 seconds faster than the St. Joseph's relay.
Next weekend's Metropolitan Conference Championships start on Friday and run through Sunday afternoon. The meet is hosted by Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
