NEWBURGH, N.Y. – Mount Saint Mary College senior
Enrique Naudy (Monroe, N.Y.) won three individual events, but King's College captured the dual meet with a 95-82 win over the Mount men and a 115-87 victory over the women's swimming team. Both the men's and women's teams move to 3-1 on the season.
Naudy continued to shine for the Knights and raced to first place in the 1000 freestyle (11:37.94), the 200 individual medley (2:07.12) and the 100 freestyle (51.67). The only other event winner on the men's side was sophomore
Mark Bohlinger (Wappingers Falls, N.Y.). Bohlinger captured first place in the 50 freestyle (24.51) and the 100 backstroke (1:07.64).
On the women's side, freshman
Meghan Seaman (Staten Island, N.Y.) and senior
Censi Danner (Saugerties, N.Y.) were single event winners. Seaman placed first in the 100 freestyle (1:00.88) and Danner grabbed a win in the 100 breaststroke (1:12.21). Sophomore
Allison Wyatt (Hopewell Junction, N.Y.) finished right behind Danner in the 100 breaststroke to take first and second place for the Knights.
The Knights travel to Drew University for a mid-week contest on Wednesday, November 16. The meet is slated to begin at 7:00 p.m.
