SCRANTON, Pa. – In a non-conference match men's tennis match on Wednesday, Marywood University swept Mount Saint Mary College, 9-0. The Pacers improved to 11-3, while the Knights dropped to 3-6.
Senior
John Como (Wingdale, N.Y.) put in the best effort for the Knights, battling back to play a competitive second set. The senior eventually fell at fourth singles, 6-2, 6-3. Freshman
Kevin Ryan (West Islip, N.Y.) also played a strong second set, but came up a bit short. Ryan lost 6-2, 6-4 at third singles.
The Knights return to action tomorrow against Bard College. An important Skyline Conference match for both teams, the start time is scheduled for 8:00 p.m.
