HAWTHORNE, NY – The Mount Saint Mary College men's tennis team won their second consecutive match on Tuesday, defeating the College of Mount Saint Vincent, 6-3. The Blue Knights improved to 2-4 overall and to 2-2 inside the Skyline Conference.

Joe Meilak (Greenville, N.Y.) and freshman
Mike McNicholas (Milton, N.Y.) cruised to an 8-1 decision at second. Junior

Zach Conlon (Huntington, N.Y) continued their recent strong play with an 8-3 decision at third doubles.
Meilak won his fifth straight singles match to improve to 5-1 overall, earning a 6-0, 6-2 decision at second singles. Conlon held on for a 6-0, 7-5 win at fourth singles and Jackson rolled at sixth singles, 6-0, 6-1. Junior
John Como (Wingdale, N.Y.), playing at fifth singles, rallied from a 4-1 deficit in the first set to win in a tiebreaker (7-1) and then took the second set, 6-0.
Up next for the Blue Knights is a Skyline Conference match with Farmingdale State College. The Mount will host the Rams on Saturday, April 18 at 1:00 p.m.
