Sophomore Carlos Valdez scored 23 points and pulled down 20 rebounds during Wednesday’s 80-76 defeat of Sage. Valdez made 11-of-13 attempts from the free throw line and also tallied 5 assists and 4 blocks. The sophomore is now averaging 15.9 points and 10.2 rebounds per game.
