Julia Flynn opened the season 3-0 in singles play and with a combined 5-1 record as the Mount won each of its first three matches. Flynn, who holds a 9-0 career record, scored second singles victories over Western Connecticut (6-0, 6-0), Bard (6-1, 6-3) and Lehman (5-7, 7-5, 10-7). Flynn also teamed with Carly Green at the first doubles position for victories over Western Connecticut (8-2) and Bard (8-4).Â
